My name is Jason Rasquinha. Having lived and studied in Mumbai all my life, I've learnt much about chaos and how to navigate through it.

Being a guitarist and music lover, I've always loved a good gig. Far from the days when performances were scarce and far between, people always have somewhere to be after a day's work is done. Besides being an affordable place to enjoy live music, the culture in this city radiates rebellion, and then some.

I never attend a gig without my camera. Besides the mobility rights it gives me at a venue, I find my self at home behind the view-finder waiting to freeze the intimidating sway of a guitarist's dreadlocks, the pulsating vein on the neck of a soaring vocalist, the unbreakable focus on the face of a drummer and the manic roar of an eager audience. Forever cautious of the mosh-pit billowing behind me, I live to capture the disobedience.
